The boys come over all euro vision this week by shooting the breeze in different countries.  While two of the boys  have the safety of the same ol sofa, Johnny joins them via space aged technology all the way from Morocco. So tune in for the gang doing a holiday show special as they give the top reasons to visit Morocco, invent a new drinking game and also talk about weeing into a robots mouth. Granted only one of those three things would actually appear on a travel show.

This time on the housekeeping the gang take on the lack of events for gentlemen, take on ghosts and also offer a lesson to everyone with the teachings of Glee, which if you are preparing to do a physics exam probably should not be trusted. Also this week one of the gang is attempting to get a job on Children’s TV and probably using Housekeepin as a launch pad is rather silly.

So in this pulse racing episode of Housekeepin’ the boys are all about making a TV show and with titles such as ‘Horse it into me Mammy’ the shows probably wont end up on discovery channel. Unless its a documentary about a mother who eats nothing but horses, which would make for damm good viewing really. Also seeing the time that was in it, the boys attempt to design an easter egg. The boys really did mean well on this one, they really did try to have a proper chat about a proper topic, just how do traffic lights work? “Its been a long time coming, a long time coming home” The Delays sang, most likely about lost love or hopeful love, they probably did not mean Housekeepin but its nice to think they may have. Yes its been a very long time since the boys sat down together, but oh its like they have never been away. All the stuff you’ve come to expect from the lads are on there such as stories involving robots, time travel and drinking stupid drinks. Also in this weeks edition two of the boys go on a date…together and they talk about a certain comedy heart throbs birthday. Whats this? Two podcasts one day? Like two girls one cup only with even more sick, poo and regret. After the last installment of Housekeepin’ saw the Lord of the Rings epic that was the G-unit cast (and a few hobbits, Niall and Hugh are really short by the way) this one sees everything get back to normal as Johnny, Colm and Gaff cast their eye to the big issues in the world. Topics that creep up this week is if you were a biscuit what would you be, the music that Irish TV events bring and an awful lot of stuff about pirates and zombies. This week two of the boys have the week off so its left to the remaining gentleman to round up his college friends that are collectively known as ‘G- unit’. The self proclaimed gods of women use the very long podcast to among other things dish out advice on women , get rated looks wise by housekeepin legend Tara, tell their origin and pretty much destroy their friendships. This week the boys return to the medium of podcasts much to the disappointment of the all the females fans of the video cast. Its your normal lucky bag of gems that you have come to expect after a years worth of nonsense only joined by this weeks returning guest host Ruairi. The boys talk about if the zombie apocalypse who they would send in as the earths four man defense the demons, still sticking to all stereotypes, there is a foxy woman and a gruff old man. Moving on from this the boys go live on the interweb to answer the age old question of ‘What is the best Simpsons song?’ and finally try to find new ways of using naughty language, and boy do they take advantage of this new found hobby. The boys return this week and have been up to all sorts. One of them was rocking in england, another was dressing up in Holland and another was becoming Dave Fanning. Yes the boys talk about festivals in Maastricht where Colm became a dandy and danced with two of the four turtles while drinking tiny beers and Gaff’s stupid loud and never closing mouth has somehow landed him a show on the radio (89.5fm thursdays at 12 ….oh yes). The boys also deal with the topic of Sesame Street and how they would bring the housekeepin touch to the street, which you can probably guess doesn’t involve being very educational to the kids. Also on this jam packed week the gang talk about the events that lead to getting a very very very lovely person to do the intro this week, so lovely that the boys didnt bother doing an easter egg because they were all out busking in order to afford engagement rings for her , awwww.

Uncureable Tuberculosis, the days before the internet and housekeepin, three things people never wanted to return to. Sadly one of them as returned, no not T.B. (you just cough when you walk because you spend all day on the internet..) and the internet is still here (you’re reading this and see last comment) , yes everyone Housekeepin is back. Welcome to a very special episode of Housekeepin, yes to celebrate the first birthday of the comedy super ship the boys join the likes the Kevin Spacey , Robert DiNiro and Snoop D O double G in the actors studio, well kind of. Yes under the leadership of our guest interviewer the boys have to delve into their pasts and pull out the big answers that everyone has been dying to know. If you ever wondered such things as how the boys deal with tension, where would be the dream place to record and who is the secret behind the shows success (thats answered three times, mainly by the one source). Also in keeping with the Studio tradition the boys take on the Bernard Pivot Questionnaire to further probe their souls. So there you go, a year’s worth of houskeepin. Much to the delight of the public the land lords return with more fun. Sure they have let their ‘doing one every week’ rule go down the pisser , but rules are made to be broken, because if they weren’t we might as well live in China or some class of Robotic metropolis , and the land lords will not stand for that. First up this week for the gents is the question that bugs all of us in the January ’Loose the holiday weight’ stage, yes  that’s right, if Gozer from Ghostbusters came to you and asked you to choose your own destruction, what on earth would you pick? Answers range from Dogs to love..probably. Speaking of dogs they then tackle dog training  and ask can a dog skateboard  and finish up with a discussion about taking kidneys from cheating wives.  Yeah so it might not be questions and answers but if you’re looking for deep insights  I can imagine why you would be here. So the boys are back from their Christmas break fatter from roses over eating but happy, and it’s a bumper double episode (kind of). Yes first up this week the boys , like the first ever pod cast, send their critical eyes over the Christmas just past. The gang discuss in detail about all the little things that made their Christmas merry from the gifts to the best thing about the day, the TV. Also a lot of nonsense about the Talkboy, the toy made famous in home alone. Following this though comes the first ever Housekeepin awards show, yes the gang cast their mind over 2008 and award the things that have mattered to them from tune of the year to most adorable nordie of the year, so you never know, you might have just won something.

Oh hello, whats this? Two episodes uploaded on the one night? Either we are very lazy and didn’t bother last week or the Christmas spirit has come over us and we thought ‘Lets reward the people by giving them double helpings of everyones favorite Christmas trio since Joseph, Mary and be wombed Jesus”. This week the boys sit down to a selection box which sparks one of the boys to tell stories of how he has used product returns to his advantage for years, which in turn sparks the biggest moral debate since would you steal bread to feed your family or did that one female transformer bang all the male ones. Following this the boys use a well known agony aunt to steal her clients and offer there own advice, which seem to focus mainly girls getting up to naughty behavior on MSN, so if you are up to mischief on any web based conversation sites housekeepin has the answer. Oh and wait till the end for a journey of middle earth sized per portions.

The most horrid feeling from ones childhood is after seeing the Toy Show on the Late Late show is seeing it the next Friday, all back to normal and serious.  For housekeeping however, we never take a drop in  tone, but a drop in quality is another thing altogether. Yes everything returns to normal this week with just three boys and a microphone keeping you company.  Though the cheer is not done yet, as the boys firstly get to grips with some of the presents they missed out on, including a gift card that may or may not get you an abortion, its gift that keeps on giving…you possibly feelings of regret, but who are we to judge? After this the boys sit down to one of the most annoying things of all time , an internet survey, we’ve all done them, but if you had been doing this shit for nearly a year you’d be rooting through the bins too, plus its free so you have no right to complain, or come up to a member of Housekeepin at a party and say ’Ohhh I don’t like the pod cast now’, your right it is the same, fucking brilliant. It’s the show that everyone looks forward to from kids aged one to ninety two, yes its ‘The Toy Show’. The show where uncle Pat wheels some toys out in front of children and then cruelly takes them away, yes its well and truly Christmas. On the flip side however the ‘Housekeepin Toy Show’ is a show that, even in its first year, no one looks forward to. Yes this week the boys pull on their old jumpers and attempt to fill the role that they have loved from kids. Though with the world gripped in a recession the gang offer the budget toys to help you at home. I say that, what may of happened was they couldn’t be arsed buying anything and went to go into a news agent an hour before the show and bought useless crap. Please enjoy the show, be warned like all attempts from housekeepin to do anything right it goes completely down the toilet, kinda like when you invite your Grandmother to Christmas dinner, its nice at the start but you just can’t wait to get back to your play station.

What do the leaders of the free world trying to sort the current economic crisis, Santa Clause and pirates trying to hide an oil tanker under an X have in common? They all have a bloody hard job to do, but not as hard as it is to try and describe this weeks podcast. Yes the boys jump around so much its almost as ‘House of Pain’ them selves were in the room. On the minds of the land lords this week is that one of the boys is having trouble talking to a pretty girl, yes its like he is 15 again (only now your a podcast mega star you over weight masturbating little bastard) however sympathy is on short supply as always from his fellow land lords though this does see a special campaign being launched . Following on from this the gang discuss monsters and munsters and who was their favorite and finally have a discussion about beer. So girls, monsters and beers, its basically the theme of the podcasts at this stage. But enough about housekeepin, how are you?

Well it was a long time coming, but the trio are reunited once again, yes Johnny has been tagged and allowed to reenter the wild. He comes back fully loaded with stories from his travels, which seem to revolve around touching things, but don’t the best stories always do? Yes Johnny touched all kinds of things, including something that most of us have only touched in our dreams..well some dreams. This must get the boys wondering what has been the best thing they have ever touched?. After this the boys move on to the the world of being intimate with something that isn’t exactly human (we’ve all been there fellas whhhhaaa..sorry) with a law being considered that allows people to marry fictional characters, which is all well and good, for one I’ve always had a thing for the pig from Toy Story. Maybe not for sex but just to hang. Oh we have changed from MP3 from MP4 , which means some surprises…

One of the gang is still away so this week the educated one and the foppish one are joined by a brace of young ladies, its almost like the playboy mansion only with two idiots making cock jokes in the corner. First up this week the gang discuss everyones favorite hero, James Bond and attempt to find out the age old question of do girls want to go up and be bond girls, and I think we are all hoping the answer is yes, because lets face it, bond girls be eaaasssyyyy (yes this description did just try and sound hip hop). After this the gang go down memory lane, a lane often traveled on housekeepin’, and discuss when they first heard the truth behind the tooth fairy, the easter bunny and the big man himself, Santa. Oh and following this they talk about babies giving their mothers orgasms during breast feeding, which you won’t find on questions and answers this week let me tell you.

After lasts weeks tragic loss of sound the boys return, still without Johnny but with a Ruairi in his place and of course it being that time of year, its the housekeepin’ Halloween special. Yes this week the gang get in touch with more spirits than your gran at a wake. Firstly the boys use the ghost of Halloweens past to try and figure out why the holiday now means so little to them and try to see when they first turned into the grumpy haters of all things involving tricks and or treats. After this the gang turn down the lights, turn up the fire and get into ghost story mode. As always the ghost stories are more filled with utter bollox than frights but that still won’t stop the boys from creating a podcast so scary that it will make Nightmare on Elms look like an episode of the Gummy Bears, which could be kinda scary if you have a phobia of Gummy and or bears. Oh and another small problem, its apparently in mono, so no your headphones are not broken.

You can’t get it right every week, and this week the boys made a little mistake. Yes there is a problem with the sound during this podcast, but was too good to loose so here it is anyway. What is so special about this podcast I hear you ask? Well its because we introduce you to a new friend, which is our old friend Tony. Yes while one of the gang is away, Tony came in and helped us get to know not just him, but a little bit about our selves too. Though this podcast does delve into the normal levels of nonsense, what you think just because the trio aint together its not going to have a part where nothing but nonsense comes out? You’re having a laugh. Yes also this week the gang discuss the recent opening of the British X files and ask the big questions of what it would be like to come across a UfO and be told to fire…granted the alien sounds a lot like the genie and priest from last week but what are you gonna do? Enjoy

They  say life beings at 40, but we’re not in the business of pleasing housewives who have chosen to stay at home so we can safely say that that phrase is wrong. A much better one would be comedy begins at 40, because welcome to the 40th housekeepin. This week the boys set their sights  on debunking the top ten things that can not be explained by science, however the boys get caught up when discussing  the wonder  of big foot,  which is fair when you think one of them is quite hairy,  legendary and famous. The only real difference is Colm chooses not to wear a watch, while I’m sure Big Foot did at some stage. Moving on from this the boys attack penguins,  this surely doesn’t need further explanation and finally they add more stuff to their cool wall. It is worth noting that the boys were out celebrating the 40th show before recording, so they are a little bit drunk, but they all in good fun.

So 39 weeks in which gives us roughly say 40 hours of podcasts. What can you do in 40 hours? Perhaps watch all the saw movies twice or play the ‘Just a minute Quiz’ 2400 times, though what we recommend is listening to this weeks show 40 times, because its just that good. This week the boys talk about the much misunderstood the shocker. The shocker is kind of like marmite,  you either love it or you hate it, only if you love it you may very well have a whole bag of issues that a simple comedy podcast cant help with. The gang (and girl) then move onto a new feature, Bob’s Corner, where they discuss what defines Metal, and no it isn’t a lattice of positive ions surrounded by a cloud of delocalised electrons so pipe down nerdy boy. Finally the gang make plans to create a wall of pure awesome, simply known as the Awesome Wall, there are rumours that it may be the only object visible from space but that’s simply not true. Well enjoy the show that still loves you even if you use a shocker and be on the look out for a revisit from The Style after the finish..

Minds coming together to discuss not the just the important matters that face our world but possibly its very future. No not the American presidential debate silly, its another burst of housekeepin the dip dap of podcasts. The week’s episode is dominated by the greatest invention of all time, no not the wheel or the MRI machine, but the 11850 text a question service. This sees the boys go a little bit crazy with this Deep Though-esque power and use it to answer the big big questions in life, these include battles between Han Solo and Indianna Jones, do all dogs in fact go to heaven and of course who is the most popular housekeepin presenter. This week also sees the boys offer hard hitting recession beating tips, but as always this goes tits up as they end up just talking about being drunk and of course they discuss the loveliest thing of all time, Christmas, bless, Anyway in a world where we could all do with a laugh sit back and the enjoy the cup of tea and a club milk of podcasts that is housekeepin.

So in a week where the current economic climate saw the reappearance of Black Monday which for many will mean a bleak or uncertain future, I think its time for the failed circle jerk of podcasts to strike once again. This week the budget flight to nonsense first deals with the issue of real life super villains, though this is about as successful as the bay of pigs. Also during the charming reading of some e-mails the boys scribe the next star trek movie and the boys talk about paying for sex, not in the emotional sense but paying with cold hard republican credits ..or just money if you are not in the star wars universe, ya nerds.

The boys aren’t just back, they are back and improved. Thats right kids in order to give you a better bang for your buck the gang offer you a podcast which is made with more care than your average airbus A380 (oh yes, your average landlord loves comedy and planes don’t you know). Not to get your hopes up, the podcast still contains a huge amount of nonsense. This week in the shape of the boys plans knowing they had 10 hours to live because of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, their attempts to turn the podcast into a political debate (and if we’re honest failing) and of course housekeepin’s top tips to try and bag yourself the perfect man / woman or animal. Well not animal, we ain’t judging but we have no tips for that..

Another week another dollar. Not for the housekeepin boys though because they don’t charge and anyway dollars are no good to them because they choose to use housebucks as their official currency. This week the boys discuss what would happen if they were a doomed plane headed for….of course, space and what would be the final thoughts to enter into their little over filled heads. The boys then move onto the topics of finding your two friends in an romantic man brace and the charm of a certain rose of Tralee, yes folks she was lovely enough to get a housekeepin mention…not the winning one though, not that wasn’t lovely of course but you know… Anyway, enjoy another burst of keepin things the house way.

This week the boys put the nonsense talk of space jails and magic clocks behind them and talk about their past and future. The boys talk about how they met and how it lead to this Bugatti veyron of podcasts that you know and love (probably). The boys then rub their crystal balls (smutty) and look to the future to wonder how the podcast will someday end. But also some nonsense about strippers so you know old habits die hard and all that.

This week the boys return but bring with them two Laura’s and the mysterious Gallery. The gang discuss many a thing including more e-mails (because there always interesting and thought provoking, in some ways) and do a marketing tool to improve the fortunes of a failing beer company, thats right the housekeepin’ boys are taste makers. Things then, as always, take a turn into nonsense town as the boys discuss what they would do with the power to stop time and deal with the horrible consequences of their time stopping actions.  Enjoy!

This weeks podcast takes a darker tone as it deals with the two of the most potentially devastating things that can happen to a person, a night out with Gaff and death. The boys discuss a recent night out where in order to improve pulling power turned to the invading Russian army of charm that is the Style. The Boys then move on to the very happy topic of how they would like to leave this place and the world of podcasting forever in mourning. Also this week more of you e-mails answered, in serious detail, because, if there is one thing the landlords care about its cheap drunken powerboat weekends, but a close second is you, the people. The hapless housekeepin triplets return with a brand new adventure involving all kinds of nonsense. The boys firstly turn to you, the normal everyday lesser (no offense) people, for your e-mails. This sees the gang discuss their top movies, which leads to the topic of which three movies they would bring if they were trapped on a desert island. This, naturally enough brings the boys onto who would live if the ship they were on traveling to space jail landed on an island where they become involved in a deadly battle royale. Yes we know this may not make a lot of sense but you know what also doesn’t make any sense? ….. Love, so say no to housekeepin and you’re saying no to love. True story.

This week the boys talk about everything festival related. Over come with jealousy about all the ‘normal’ people attending the oxygen music festival the boys talk about all their best festival memories. From the great moments of being drunk at 5 in the morning to the worst times of being too drunk at 5 past 5 in the morning. In other festival related news the gang put together their ideas for Housefest, the greatest festival known to man. Also this man one of the gang finds out he may be dyslectic, apparently he walked into a bra…..sorry, no need for that. Enjoy!

The boys from the east coast roll again this week. Topics include one of the gang being on a beach naked with 2000 other people, kinda like Dunkirk only with less Nazi aerial attacks but more breasts, the topic of how amazing hand dryers are and a wee bit about mammys, bless. The boys then attack your e-mails dealing with such issues as Shaggy’s role in the future of Iraq and another e-mail from the the earthquake of manliness, the Style. Said earthquake was created by the tectonic plates of charm and charisma colliding..apparently. Also spot prize for anyone who can guess how many times “Boom” is said….Boom.

This week sees one of the gang watching far too much of explorer, hard ass bastard and all round good guy Bear Grylls and his born survivor show, this prompts the boys to discuss everything jungle related. Topics include just how well they would do in such a situation, who would kill who in the jungle and why the rain forest is called a rain forest. The general mainly nature continues as the boys go on to discuss another channel 4 hero, Gordon Ramsay and are hairy chests still sexy. The number 23 a terrible film with Jim Carrey but a damm fine episode of a podcast with the housekeepin boys. This week sees the boys try to remember a recent birthday which ended up in a lot of drunken phone calls, how old ‘would you go’  and hair on things where they were should never be any hair…ever. The boys also offer better advice than any guidance counselor ever could with the dos and don’ts of CV writing and interview skills. Kinda like the second last episode of any series of the apprentice where Sugar gets his mates to interview them only without Alan Sugar and that woman who had sex up against a fence.

Also the boys get down right creepy when talking about a friend of theirs…apologies in advance to the gentleman in question…he will know who he is.

The summer wind, came blowing in from across the seeeeeaaaaaaaaaa. This week sees the boys leave the home comforts of housekeepin’ HQ and set out into the wild (ish) for some fun, sun and beer all in the name of the first ever out-cast. Topics that have interested the trio of slightly sun burnt hunks this week are the womens mini marathon, Gaff’s recent trip to Cork for a booze laden fun filled trip, watch some kids play football (which does sound kinda creepy) and talk about object love, and not the good old Freudian type (a joke there for psychology students).

Also this week the boys announce a competition to win a radiohead ticket (almost like a real radio show) but more importantly a chance to spend a birthday with one of the gang.

Another week, another hour of intelligent  banter and not so intelligent drivel in equal measures from the housekeepin’ boys. This week sees one of the boys growing a beard for medical reasons, the greatness of reddit, the rather compromising lyrics of J – pop and also, if we are being honest, down right harsh opinions of women.

Also this week the show would make the likes of Ursula Halligan, Jeremy Paxman and John Stewart proud as the guys take on the Lisbon Treaty. Its probably for the best that you don’t base your vote on on these opinions..actually why not? But enough about housekeepin, how are things with you? What is your favorite  Friends character for example?

The chappies also tackle the thorny issues of profanity in parliament, politeness in foreigners and awesomeness in techno. Plus there’s a personalised message for YOU, so you had better listen, I am deadly serious. I am serious like HIV, motherfuckers.

This weeks podcast resembles ugg boots, chlamydia and the polish community in the sense that it is all over the place. The summer sun must have gone to our boys head because they cover probably very topic of conversation of all time. Choice ones include the many crimes of R Kelly, the many smells our hosts love and the many times one of the hosts can remind the boys he is on ‘Vaca’. The podcast does then take some shape as the guys review the other podcasts that include the word ‘Housekeeping’ and announce the future shape of their own little show, one which will send shocks throughout the comedy world.

I say ‘comedy world’ , I mean you, our very few listeners, who we love. Without you we would be nothing and we feel we don’t don’t give you people enough, so for everyone who downloads this, and actually wants it, the boys will come over to your house and sing the theme song to dogtanian. Well probably.

This week sees the action return to normal as the Housekeepin’ team becomes a trio once again. A highly philosophical podcast this time where the boys find them selves asking the huge questions in life. These questions include how best to spend money that was gained at the expense of a teenage girl with possibly a whoreish mouth, whats it like to record a podcast now that one of the team is a comedy award winner (despite the objections of the other members of the team), would our life’s be a little bit better knowing the Men in Black dance, should the boys attend an east 17 gig and also how sexually driven is the Mario universe?

Granted these questions may not get you past an exam if you are a philosophy student but if you are worried about that perhaps you should spend less time listening to a tin pot excuse for a podcast and maybe a little bit more time with the books you silly ingrid layabout.

This weeks adventure sees many changes for the housekeepin’ trio as not only do they allow a studio audience in their humble abode they are also joined by the ever so charming and northern guest presenter Laura. Features on this show see Gaff taking on the role of Bamber Gascoigne with a quiz attempting to see how well you can know a person just by hearing them talk nonsense on a podcast every week, the boys (and girl) take on the role of diplomats to take on the most important area of the northern irish peace process since the Good Friday agreement (it may involve just tasting drinks, but what can you do?) and also the role of John Bowman as they take part in a Q and A session with the audience. Everything as normal seems to go a little bit wrong though for our boys (and girl – again). Enjoy!

Granted its going on nearly an hour so you may wish to use the bathroom now, or perhaps get your self a little snack, make some tea or even some ketamine. What ever you need to do just get yourself in the mood for a reviews based podcast that even your Nan could enjoy.

In a week of fall outs , both between two of our boys and of the nuclear kind. This weeks podcast sees your favourite trio discuss knees to the face, the upcoming Housekeepin’ charity song to raise funds for a €4000 whiskey that they may share with a lucky homeless man and give the housekeepin’ answer to the government’s recent “Preparing for Major Emergencies” booklet.
Also featured are such regulars as one of our hosts love for Zooey Deschanel and the ever growing ‘As – Has’ debate.
